The Last Ferry

For sixty years the crossing was the only way in or out. When the operator filed for closure, the village had four months to decide what it was without it.

I filmed alone, mostly from the deck, mostly at the same three times of day. The repetition was the point — you only notice a routine when you are counting down its last instances.
